Hi guys

So recently I was awarded ‘Camper Of The Year’ by British Freeski Camps. I was presented with a pair of Faction Kennedy skis, a Faction jacket, Faction ski pants and a British Freeski Camps t-shirt.

I would like to thank every one at British Freeski Camps for nominating me and presenting me with such amazing prizes. I’ve had my Marker Griffon bindings mounted and really enjoyed riding them at Snozone, Castleford.

Over the year I’ve really enjoyed getting coached by Beckyand Andy Bennett and everyone else over at British Freeski Camps at Halifax and Rossendale. I feel that I’ve improved a lot and i can’t wait to put these new skills into practice during the British Indoor Slopestyle Championships (The Brits) next month.

Again thanks to Ski Olympic for their sponsorship

The Indoor Brits 2014

The Brits - Chill FactorHi guys, recently I competed in the Brits at chill factor! It was a very good day. I came 9th out of 13 in my age group (under 16). It was my first proper competition so I’m happy with where I came.

The Brits - Chill Factor

The Brits - Chill FactorMy first run I did a 180 over the spine,  sideward over the up down box, 180 over the kicker and finished it with a front 270 out of the box! That scored me 18 points. My second run I did a switch 180 over the spine, sidewards over the up down box, 180 over the spine and sidewards over the box. That scored me 19 points and luckily I was able to stay on my feet. The scariest part was my last run as I was the last person to go so everyone was watching me!

The Brits - Chill FactorIt was a great experience and I will carry on competing and hopefully start winning some medals!

Easter Shred – Learning to Fly!

Hi guys,

This is a short edit my dad did from my week in Courchevel 1650 in France last week.

I had a great time and the snow was good for the time of year.

At New Year I  worked more on boxes and rails but decided to practice my grabs and spins this time.

I use K2 Sight 2013 freestyle skis and Salomon spk 100 boots. The video was shot on 2 GoPro cameras.

The song for the video is “learn to fly” by the Foo Fighters.

Hope you like it?

Hitting the rail!

Hey guys

Here’s a selection of pics and a short video of me last night at Snozone Castleford. I’ve been skiing since I was 5 years old but have only been skiing freestyle since April 2013.

Since April I have come on loads. I started off going straight over boxes and just trying basic grabs such as safety grabs. As I progressed on I was starting 180’s. After that I started to do boxes sideways and different grabs such as mutes and other straight tricks like daffies. Just recently I have moved on to doing  360’s and rails sideways.
I love skiing and I just wanted to say thanks to the freestyle instructors at Xscape, Matt, Nick, Danny, Nubiel and Ian. These are the people who have helped me come on and progress to where I am now.

I hope in the future I can come on even more and start competing in competition when I feel the times right
